At Pamphill First School, we are incredibly proud of our warm, nurturing and high-achieving school, where every child is known, valued and encouraged to shine.

Our Christian vision is at the heart of all that we do. Together, we seek to develop confident, curious and compassionate lifelong learners, growing in love and courage and making the very most of the opportunities that come their way. We want every child to discover their strengths, develop a genuine love of learning and leave us believing in what they can achieve.

Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of Pamphill, on the outskirts of Wimborne Minster, our small school provides education for children aged 4–9. There has been a school at Pamphill Green since 1698, and we are immensely proud to continue this long tradition of providing an excellent education at the heart of our local community.

Being a small school is one of our greatest strengths. Our children are known as individuals, relationships are strong and there is a wonderful sense of belonging. We know that children flourish when they feel happy, safe and valued, and our nurturing environment goes hand in hand with high expectations for learning and achievement. We are exceptionally proud of what our children achieve academically, but equally proud of the kind, courageous and thoughtful young people they become.

We believe every child is unique, with their own talents, interests and potential. Through an ambitious and engaging curriculum, enriched by the wonderful environment and community around us, we provide opportunities for children to explore, create, question, challenge themselves and experience success. We want learning at Pamphill to be memorable and for our children to leave us with strong foundations for the next stage of their education.

Our partnership with families is incredibly important to us. By working closely together, we create the secure, supportive environment in which children can thrive both academically and personally.
